The rate at which Lorries, Trailers and Tankers crush smaller vehicles this days is alarming. A tanker load of Diesel traveling along awka road Yesterday, in Anambra state, lost control and crashed into a fully loaded bus inside Trackers pack at UniZik junction killing five persons instantly.
Eyewitness at the scene of the accident said that the passengers of the bus were mainly students on their way to their respective JAMB Examination Centers. Adding that the driver lost control of the tanker because of brake failure. Men of the Federal Road Safety Corp who were on ground confirmed the death of five people, who have been deposited at the Regina Ceali Hospital. several others with different degree of injuries are receiving treatment at hospitals nearby.
